Despite rumoured marital woes in her personal life, Jennifer Garner has much to smile about when it comes to doting on her three children.
And on Saturday, the wife of actor Ben Affleck appeared to be in good spirits when she was seen giving middle child Seraphina a piggy back ride after shopping for clothes at Rag & Bone boutique in Brentwood, California.
The 43-year-old actress was makeup-free for her mother-daughter outing, which also included a trip to the grocery store later that day.

Jennifer was casual yet chic in a pastel plaid long sleeve, skinny jeans and beige ballet flats.
The mother-of-three pulled back her long tresses in a fuss-free ponytail and covered her makeup-free face with oversized sunglasses.
Daughter Seraphina, 6, looked adorable in a mix of patterns including cherry print leggings, floral top and bright pink jacket.
Missing from the outing was husband Ben, eldest child Violet and son Samuel.

It was claimed last month by OK! Magazine and the National Enquirer that Jennifer and Ben have already separated and will announce their split before their anniversary, which is later this month.
However Ben and Jennifer have been seen together a couple of times in the past two weeks, in an apparent bid to quash the rumours.
Despite their apparently tense moment as they arrived at the shopping destination on Wednesday, Jennifer had a big smile on her face when they left.
Ben has said he fell in love with Jennifer on the set of Daredevil. They married on June 29, 2005 and are also parents to nine-year-old daughter Violet and son Samuel, three.
Jennifer revealed last month that marriage requires ‘a lot of patience’ when children are involved.
'You just go on a ride together because you don’t know who you’re going to be when you first have a baby and you don’t know who [your partner] is going to be,' she told Yahoo! Parenting.
'You have to just hang in there while you figure it out - and have a lot of patience for each other.'
