‘I did a lot of thinking about love, what we want from love and when we start learning,’ she explained. ‘But I remember, when I was growing up, I learned a lot about love from the movies we watched.
'In those movies you had two very different main characters but somehow you just know they're perfect for each other.’
Meanwhile, she looked like she was having the time of her life as she played her biggest hits for her devoted fans, changing into a series of stunning costumes.
Taylor Swift kicked off the UK leg of her world tour in Glasgow
Taylor worked every inch of the huge stage for her first stop on the UK leg of her world tour, which kicked off in Tokyo back in May.
The Style hitmaker showed off her svelte figure in a high-waisted satin mini skirt paired with a glittery crop top at one point in the show.
Her heeled ankle boots didn't stop the blonde beauty from showing off her moves, while she added a slick of her now signature red lipstick to her look.
A colourful sequinned jacket added to the look, while later Taylor changed into a light-up pink crop top and full skirt, as her dancers twirled illuminated umbrellas.

Taylor put on an epic show for her fans, performing with a live band and a huge troupe of hunky back up dancers.
After bringing her show to Manchester on Wednesday night, Taylor's next stop on her tour will be London when she takes the Great Oak Stage in Hyde Park by storm on Saturday.
She will be supported by her close pal Ellie Goulding and John Newman at the long-awaited Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park event.
The feisty blonde kicked off her 1989 World Tour in Tokyo in May and has already completed a large chunk of the North American leg, with the star heading back to the US in August for more dates before rounding things up in Australia at the end of the year.
Taylor's latest gig comes as Apple reversed its payment policy this week after the singer said she would refuse to allow the company to stream her latest album.
The superstar penned an open letter on Sunday morning, shaming the tech giant for its 'shocking' decision not to pay artists during a three-month free trial offered to subscribers.
After just hours of negotiation the firm made a U-turn and will now pay every musician whose work is featured during the free trial when Apple Music is rolled out on June 30.
A delighted Taylor couldn't wait to share her triumph with her fans, tweeting as the news broke: 'I am elated and relieved. Thank you for your words of support today. They listened to us.'
