The newly-platinum hunk's arrival didn't go unnoticed by fans, who surrounded him in a screaming gaggle.
The Kiss You hit-maker was unfazed by the frenzied reception and was his usual laid-back self, stopping for selfies with his loyal female followers.
He posted on Twitter: 'Feels good to be in Paris and see some familiar faces !! Big love to the fans x'
Zayn's popularity hasn't waned since leaving the band, who were put together on The X Factor by Simon Cowell in 2010.
He seemed more in-demand than ever when he made his first appearance in the French capital earlier on Wednesday afternoon.
The star was in attendance as Italian brand Valentino unveiled their Spring-Summer 2016 menswear collection with guests including fellow singer Joe Jonas.

Taking to Twitter Zayn posted a selfie from his car, simply captioning the image: 'White hair'.
The singer added that he's also tried out another shade this week, tweeting: 'Had it purple yesterday ha trying em all out ha.'
The ever-evolving style of Zayn may have already entered another phase, but just days ago the ex boybander was showing off his lime green do.
It was Perrie who revealed that colour change, as she shared an image of the couple cuddling up to one another on her social media sites. '#GreenHairDontCare,' she captioned the snap.
The singer told The Sun that her man quickly ditched the green, confessing of her boyfriend's do: 'It's not even green any more. I think it's orange now. He just keeps changing it up. He'll probably shave it off next week and then it will be back to normal.'
It was only in April when Zayn unveiled his new buzzcut as he attended the Asian Awards at London's Grosvenor hotel with his mother Trisha.
The ex-boyband-member had shorn off his long locks, ditching a top knot in favour of an extreme shaved head.
Zayn unveiled his green hair at the same time his former bandmates hit the stage at the Capital FM Summertime Ball, the band's first performance in London as a foursome.
