Cobie Smulders forced to pull out of HBO movie Confirmation after breaking her leg

She's a medical mystery.
Cobie Smulders went to the doctor after one of her legs began to hurt and, to her surprise, discovered it was broken.
Now the injury has forced the 33-year-old Canadian actress to pull out of HBO movie Confirmation, according to Us Weekly on Wednesday.

What's more the How I Met Your Mother star has absolutely no idea how or when she sustained the injury.
Confirmation stars Kerry Washington as Anita Hill, the attorney who sued Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas, played by Wendell Pierce, for sexual harassment in 1991.
An insider told Us Weekly that Cobie was due on set either this week or last week.

She said her leg started hurting so she had it checked out,' the source explained, 'and that she must’ve done something to it without realising sometime earlier.'
HBO is scrambling to recast Cobie as she rests up and have yet to reveal a replacement.
The mother-of-two was due to play Harriet Grant, one of the senior Democratic lawyers who interviewed Anita during the Senate hearings on Thomas. She is still listed in the role on the Internet Movie Data Base.

The cast also includes Grace Gummer, Dylan Baker, and Peter McRobbie.
Resting may be difficult for the Avengers: Age of Ultron actress as she shares a six-month-old baby girl and six-year-old daughter Shaelyn with her Saturday Night Live actor husband Taran Killam, 33.
The couple, who have yet to reveal their baby's name, got engaged in January 2009 and tied the knot on September 8, 2012, in Solvang, California.
