Josh Duhamel and sweet son Axl sport matching backwards baseball caps as they enjoy a father-son day out

He might only be 23 months old, but little Axl Duhamel looks like he already wants to be just like his daddy.
The adorable tot and actor Josh - married to Black Eyed Peas frontwoman Fergie - looked super-cute as they enjoyed a father-son day out in Brentwood, California, on Tuesday.
Evidently having a strong influence on his little one's outfit choices, the 42-year-old star and his mini-me were sporting matching backwards baseball caps as they headed out for a low-key bite to eat in their local area.

Josh teamed his trendy headgear with a casual ensemble, which comprised black combat trousers, white T-shirt and grey Vans trainers.
Meanwhile Axl looked utterly adorable in a similar outfit picked out by his fashion-conscious father.
Axl was every inch the cool dude in a pair of grey shorts, a blue T-shirt, tiny New Balance sneakers and a printed neck scarf.

Josh treated his 23-month-old to lunch on the sunny afternoon, before the pair headed off for a spot of exercise.
Carrying Axl to one side, the Transformers star held a plastic bag in his free hand.
The toddler was in a mischievous mood and was seen tugging on his father's white T-shirt as he carried him out of the restaurant.

Following their meal, Josh took his boy on a brief bike ride.
Ensuring to put safety first, he strapped Axl up in a protective cycling helmet before lifting him up in a seat fixed onto the back of his bike which featured a safety help.
The cute 23-month-old was on his best behaviour as he sat back, relaxed and enjoyed the ride around the block.
Little Axl seems to be quite the fan of a backwards cap, and was sporting some cool headgear as his superstar mommy, Fergie, 40, picked him up from daycare last week.

Fergie - who gave birth to the couple's first child in August 2013 - recently admitted she became 'lazy' when she first became a mother, and only sprung into action when she realised she was missing the feel good factor from working out.
She exclusively told MailOnline: 'I was lazy with cardio after having the baby – but, in the end, I actually missed a good sweat. I feel great after a work-out and, eventually, I craved it.'
These days Fergie is a real fitness fanatic and has even built her own private dancer studio in her house to facilitate her regular workouts.
The 40-year-old star explained: 'I have a trainer and I work out all the time. Like, three times a week. I do push-ups, squats, cardio, dance classes, jogging, elliptical and others.
'Some weeks are better than others, but it helps if I just have juice for the first half of the day.'
