She's nursing a broken heart in the middle of a hectic promotional tour for her band.
But Perrie Edwards was in good company on Monday as she relaxed poolside in Los Angeles with her Little Mix bandmates, as it emerged that the 22-year-old's engagement to former One Direction star Zayn Malik was called off two weeks ago.
The singer seemed subdued but looked gorgeous in a tiny bikini as she caught some rays with bandmates Jade Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock at their LA base.
The pretty blonde showed off her slim physique in a patterned halter neck bikini which she teamed with round mirrored sunglasses, as she milled around the pool.
The star was noticeably not wearing her engagement ring which she had been sporting at LAX just hours before, with Little Mix's trip Stateside coming as news breaks about Perrie's shock split from fiancé Zayn.

The singer flashed a big smile as she cosied up to bandmate Leigh-Anne, with the fun snap posted to Little Mix's Instagram account along with the caption: 'Just touched down in LA, Catching mr Ray! #LittleMixInTheUsa'
Afterwards Jesy posted a photo of her 'woman crush' Perrie relaxing on a sun bed to her own Instagram account.
Next to the snap, the newly-engaged star wrote: 'Phwoooaaarrrrr my WCW even though it's not Wednesday... my Perrie winkle!!!!'
It has emerged that Zayn called off the couple's engagement two weeks ago. The cruel decision comes amid reports they were gearing up to move into a £3million, six bedroom home in Hertfordshire together.
To make things even worse Perrie, 22, had to go straight into promotion for the band's new single Black Magic.
She has flown to Los Angeles with her Little Mix bandmates but the insider told MailOnline the timing could not be worse.
Both Perrie and Zayn, 22, are in Los Angeles right now but they have not seen each other.
The source said: 'Perrie is being a trooper about it and putting on a brave face but she's devastated. She's doesn't know what he's thinking. She's going to go out and promote the new single but obviously the timing could not be worse, especially when she's going to be doing so many interviews.'
One of the band's first stops on day one of their promo tour on Tuesday was with E! News, with the US site reporting that the singer 'had a giant smile on her face,' throughout the chat.
Perrie didn't give too much away, but E! write that when asked how she's doing following the split, she replied: 'I'm good, thank you,' before her bandmates swiftly moved the conversation along.
Meanwhile, a source close to Zayn told Us Weekly that he simply wanted a 'fresh start', adding: 'He just wanted to move on and start over in all ways.'
MailOnline has contacted reps for Perrie and Zayn for comment.
Perrie was pictured without her engagement ring in March 2015 and claimed it was because it was at the cleaners. A couple of weeks later, Zayn publicly apologised when he was pictured with his arm around Lauren Richardson during a wild night out in Thailand, saying 'sorry for how it looks' and tweeted about his love for Perrie.
Days later Zayn announced his departure from One Direction, with many fans convinced the Little Mix star was the one who persuaded the singer to leave the group.
Some angry fans compared Perrie to Yoko Ono, the widow of the late John Lennon, who was infamously blamed for breaking up the Beatles.
Many fans concluded that the pretty blonde was to blame following his swift return home from the band's tour in March for 'crisis' talks with his fiancee, after being pictured getting close to another girl in Thailand.
One fan lashed out at Zayn's long-term love on Twitter, writing: 'Perrie's the modern day Yoko Ono ... I can't believe this'
Another tweeted: 'PERRIE EDWARDS IS THE YOKO ONO OF ONE DIRECTION'
Meanwhile, other users suggested Perrie should have quit her own band, Little Mix in order to support Zayn's desire to lead a 'normal' life.
One fan wrote: 'What just happened?! Did Perrie made him chose her over his career? Unfair, man. She should also quit if that's the case. Just an opinion (sic).'
Another heartbroken Directioner simply wrote: 'You broke all of our hearts to fix yours @PerrieEdwards.'
Others were more sympathetic though, with one fan hoping Zayn's departure will mean a happy ending for him and Perrie.
Zayn and Perrie had been dating since December 2011, after meeting on set of the X Factor.
Their friendship blossomed into a romance after Perrie's band Little Mix won the competition's eighth series.
Later that month, Perrie appeared to confirm the dating rumors when she denied dumping Zayn, telling an interviewer: 'How can I possibly have dumped someone that I barely even know? It's actually massively embarrassing.'
Their first attempt at a relationship ended after a few weeks, the couple started dating officially four months later. A month later, they kissed in public for the first time. A source told The Sun newspaper: 'They've spent months getting to know each other to make sure they were on track before they went public.' The couple were unsure their relationship could work because of the pressures and travel involved in their work, but have decided they like each other too much not to give things a try.
In July 2012 Zayn met the parents for the first time and admitted he was really nervous. He told The Mirror: 'I went up to meet her mum and family the other month.
'I was a bit scared of meeting her brother to be honest - he's in the navy, he's a big bloke. I thought he was going to be a bit defensive over his sister but he was cool.'
The first cheating rumours to surround the couple emerged in August 2012 as video footage allegedly filmed by a girl staying at the same hotel as the boybander is released showing Zayn apparently hitting on a girl.
The drama led to Zayn deleting his Twitter account because he was tired of the 'hate,' after Perrie deleted her own account in May.
The couple were back on good terms that December as Perrie's bandmates gushed: '[We've] never seen a boy love a girl as much as he loves her.'
The ringing endorsement came just a few weeks before Zayn flew back to the UK to save his relationship in February 2013 after pictures emerged of the star allegedly in a waitress' bed. Australian Courtney Webb took pictures of the singer while he slept, which went public. But Perrie stood by her man.
That June Zayn proved his love by getting a getting a cartoon-style image of Perrie tattooed on his arm.
She was touched by the gesture and said at the time: 'It must be love to be honest. When I'm away from him, I guess he can just take a look at his arm and remind him of me. So it's a lovely compliment really. I love it, it's lovely. It's a cartoon version of me so it's a little caricature so it's cool.'
In August Directioners went into meltdown when Perrie was spotted wearing an engagement ring at the One Direction: This Is Us premiere, with the big news later confirmed by members of their families.
In November 2014, the couple adopted a Teacup Yorkshire Terrier named Teddy together, but that same month Zayn found himself at the centre of a row when he failed to join his bandmates in the US to promote their fourth album, prompting Today show's Matt Lauer to ask if it was related to drugs.
Despite getting engaged in August 2013, Zayn admitted that same month that they had not had the time to sit down and begin planning for their big day.
He said: 'I haven't really thought about getting married yet, we're just kind of engaged.
'We haven't really thought about the wedding side of things or how we're gonna do that.
'We haven't really had any time to sit and organise that.'
