They have been enjoying quality time together as a couple following Zayn Malik’s decision to leave One Direction.
And Perrie Edwards’ relationship with the singer seems stronger than ever as the pair were pictured leaving her father’s house in Newcastle.
Walking hand-in-hand, the couple looked calm and relaxed as they made their way towards a waiting car.
Perrie, 21, worked off-duty style with ease as she teamed a check print cropped jumper with black trousers and a matching blazer.
Shielding her eyes with chic shades, the blonde beauty wore her locks in loose waves while she completed the ensemble with strappy heels.
Zayn opted for a more casual look as he rocked an Adidas hoody and tracksuit bottoms, wearing his hood up.
The singer puffed away on his cigarette while keeping a firm grip on his fiancée’s hand.
Ever since Zayn Malik confirmed he had quit One Direction in March, fans have placed the blame squarely on his Perrie.
Directioners hit out at the Little Mix singer by comparing her to Yoko Ono, the widow of the late John Lennon, who was infamously blamed for breaking up the Beatles.
But three months after 22-year-old Zayn's departure, Perrie's mother Debs is hitting back, telling the Daily Mirror newspaper: 'It was his decision and nothing to do with Perrie.'
Debs also revealed that while she already thinks of Zayn as her son, the couple have no plans to wed in the near future.
'They've got plenty of time,' she said. 'They're still young.'
Zayn announced back in March that he had made the decision to bow out of the chart-topping boyband, leaving Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson to continue as a four-piece.
Zayn said in a statement released to MailOnline: 'My life with One Direction has been more than I could ever have imagined.
'But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band. I'd like to apologise to the fans if I've let anyone down, but I have to do what feels right in my heart.'
He continued: 'I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22 year old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight.
'I know I have four friends for life in Louis, Liam, Harry and Niall. I know they will continue to be the best band in the world.'
Despite Zayn not mentioning his fiancee in the statement, many fans concluded that the pretty blonde was to blame following his swift return home from the band's tour for 'crisis' talks, after being pictured getting close to another girl in Thailand.
One fan lashed out at Zayn's long-term love on Twitter, writing: 'Perrie's the modern day Yoko Ono ... I can't believe this'
Another tweeted: 'PERRIE EDWARDS IS THE YOKO ONO OF ONE DIRECTION'
Meanwhile, other users suggested Perrie should quit her own band, Little Mix in order to support Zayn's desire to lead a 'normal' life.
One fan wrote: 'What just happened?! Did Perrie made him chose her over his career? Unfair, man. She should also quit if that's the case. Just an opinion (sic).'
Another heartbroken Directioner simply wrote: 'You broke all of our hearts to fix yours @PerrieEdwards.'
Others were more sympathetic though, with one fan hoping Zayn's departure will mean a happy ending for him and Perrie.
'I hope you and @PerrieEdwards will have a lovely life together!! love you both xxx' the fan gushed.
Zayn's relationship with Perrie has been at the heart of his troubles around the time of his departure from the group.
He was pictured holding hands with 19-year-old, Lauren Richardson (currently a contestant on ITV's Love Island reboot) in Phuket, Thailand. As a result he flew straight home from One Direction's world tour for 'crisis talks' with Perrie, with the official line blaming his departure on 'stress'.
Zayn tweeted about the recent incident to publicly apologise for 'what it looked like' and declare his love for the Little Mix singer, shortly after the incriminating pictures surfaced.
He wrote: 'I'm 22 years old... I love a girl named Perrie Edwards. And there's a lot of jealous f**ks in this world I'm sorry for what it looks like x.'
Sources previously revealed that Zayn was willing to do anything to prove his commitment to the Move singer.
An insider said: 'Zayn's found touring with the band a big strain this time around - he's seriously exhausted and wanted to let his hair down in Thailand.
'Now his plan has backfired and he's gutted Perrie has been left humiliated.
'He's told Perrie he'll do anything to please her and wants to stop pushing their wedding date back. He says he wants to get married this year. But Perrie is finding it hard to let go of what she's seen.'
And it appears to have worked.
With a romantic getaway straight after Zayn left the band, the pair appear to have worked out any issues.
And Zayn has been playing the dutiful fiance, joining Perrie on the road as she and her bandmates promote their new single Black Magic.
