But Selena Gomez proved she also has a sporty side on Friday, as she battered up during the Big Slick Celebrity Softball Game at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

The 22-year-old Come & Get It hitmaker even managed to impress while up at the plate, as she was later seen running to first base after getting a hit.

She dressed athletic chic in a blue jersey, white undershirt, slim black trousers, and black trainers.

Selena has been drumming up interest for the upcoming tune for some time on social media, and on Wednesday gave fans a glimpse of the track's beat in a brief Instagram clip.

The single comes months after the release of I Want You To Know, Selena's collaboration with DJ Zedd.

Selena has been enjoying a string of good professional fortune in recent days.

Aside from the unveiling of her new album art, she revealed on Monday that she had partnered up with Pantene to become the new face of the hair care line.

Selena has also been promoting the upcoming sequel to her 2012 animated comedy Hotel Transylvania, Hotel Transylvania 2.
